Position Summary

Reporting to the President, the Vice President of Enrollment and Student Success (E&SS) is the lead administrator of the E&SS areas. The VP is responsible for the Enrollment Management Plan, including the comprehensive oversight for planning and implementation of goals, objectives, and strategies related to each office in the E&SS Division as well as ensuring those goals, objectives, and strategies are reflective of the vision and mission of Wesley Biblical Seminary.

Primary Duties
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to the Directors of the offices of:
    • Marketing
    • Admissions
    • Recruitment
    • Financial Aid
    • Student Success Career Development Center
    • Student Counseling, and
    • International Student Advising
  • Provide oversight for the implementation of the short-range and long-range Enrollment Management Plan
    • Analyze and evaluate annual strategic and targeted enrollment needs
    • Ensure marketing, recruitment goals, policies, practices, and actions produce successful student recruitment results, consistent with WBS mission, the Seminary’s strategic plan, and the Enrollment Management Plan
    • Utilize state, regional, and national data to create predictive models of enrollment trends and results
    • Coordinate the annual review of the Enrollment Management Plan and implement revisions as needed
  • Provide budgetary oversight for all offices in the E&SS division
  • Establish, implement, and monitor program evaluation systems for all E&SS programs and services
  • Represent the seminary at denominational and other gatherings and functions for recruitment purposes, including significant travel as needed
  • Coordinate E&SS programs and services with other divisions
    • Work closely with the WBS Advancement/Development team in the development of the marketing efforts
    • Work closely with the Vice President for Academic Affairs in the coordination of student academic issues
    • Work closely with the Seminary business office in the coordination of student financial issues and budgetary issues
    • Participate as a member of the President’s Cabinet
Qualifications
  • Master's level degree in a related field required; terminal degree preferred
  • Experience in academic administration, preferably in a seminary context
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, drive innovation, resolve conflict, and build a healthy team culture
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Proficient use of technology and ability to evaluate technical tools for E&SS functions
